Jerk Chicken hears a click. “Did you hear that? he asks.
“That sound is the refrigerator starting its defrost cycle,” he tells us.
In the distance is a drip, drip, drip sound. “And that sound?” asks Jerk Chicken as he looks over his shoulder.
“That’s the sound of my feet getting wet.”
